A Complete Exterior Transformation in Lynn, MA

What started as a plan to repair a few areas of rotting wood siding and trim quickly turned into a much-needed full exterior renovation for this Lynn, MA home.

What We Upgraded

The project included:

• James Hardie 7" smooth lap siding in Arctic White with Board and Batten Accents

• AZEK PVC trim to replace deteriorating wood trim

• Andersen 100 Series windows, including new interior window trim

• Two custom entry doors

• A new metal roof over the front porch

• Black gutters for added contrast

• Repair of extensive rot discovered once the existing siding was removed

In just four weeks, BER took the home from aging, rotting wood siding to a completely refreshed exterior including repairs, siding, trim, windows, doors, gutters and all the finishing details.

One of the most important parts of this project was what you can't see in the finished photos. Removing the old siding exposed significantly more rot than was visible from the exterior. Rather than covering up the problem, our team repaired the damaged areas before installing the home's new exterior.

The Finished Look

The Arctic White James Hardie siding and AZEK trim gave the home a clean, timeless New England look, while the black gutters and metal porch roof added contrast and definition. New Andersen windows and custom doors completed the transformation.
